Wowsers. I like that "required" bit in the lead (as others too have commented). Freedom "requires" religion; religion "requires" freedom.
He didn't mention Unitarian Universalists, Transcendentalists, agnostics, (I think he covered apostates in "religion of secularism").
I appreciated his comments about needing to pout religion back in the public square.
Sooo, Mittsy doesn't get much of the Constitution at all atall. First Amendment--that congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion thang.
He muffed it on Article I, §8 ¶12 (Congress (not "my lawyers") has the power....to declare war (and to set the conditions on captures on land and water--Congress did that about waterboarding already. Mitt musta missed that, too.
Think about it. He's going to swear to "preserve, protect and defend" the US Constitution? I doubt he's ever read it. I sure as heck didn't go to Vietnam to defend that kind of ignorance in a potential President.
It's been a bad year for the GOP. Dwindling support, dwindling money. So they've put together this 3:30 licketysplit video commercial montage of all the presidential candidates they've got on offer this year. Will you have pity on them and give it a look?
Fantastic!
