About the last point, that the next couple of months will likely have Obama and Clinton addressing each other and unable to run a 'general' election race against John Mc'Cane': I'm not so sure that is a problem. Won't media coverage stay glued to the dueling between Obama and Clinton, keeping a focus on the Democratic race and how exciting it is, drawing distinctions between Clinton (90s DLC wing of the party) and Obama (new, energized, 21st century, grassroots wing of the party)? Not to mention between the exciting Dem race and the all-but-over Republican race that was won by an old white dude whom we've seen a thousand times before and who supports and represents the past 8 years of failed government. Perhaps the lengthy Dem race would be a good thing? Given Obama's victory speech the other night, in which he was still able to counter both Clinton's and Mc'Cane''s messages, it isn't clear to me that he can't still run strongly against both Clinton and Mc'Cane' at once.
