The democratic party has betrayed its values. It used to stand up for debate, criticism of the United States and diversity- now superdelagates are so sh*t scared of republicans that they will throw out Obama because of rev. wright first chance they get. Rather than stand up and be counted, as Obama has done, and say that our society is big enough and mature enough to have the opinion's of people like wright in them- and it doesn't mean they are a 'fanatic' or 'crazy', just angry. And we can deal with it. Shame on the democrats.

Is that fair? I think it is right that this stuff is vetted in the primaries- before it is used against us (dems) in the national election.

yeah- but that isn't why Hillary is dong it. She is endorsing it as a valid criticism of Obama- and it isn't valid. it innuendo- maybe he isn't "american enough' etc. maybe he is one of those 'angry blacks'. And she is quite happy to have that- and for whites to abandon him. She is happy to hit him with the race card. She has no honor, there is nothing she stands for.

I think Bill Maher summed it up fairly well: If Hillary's preacher had said what Wright said, she would have left. If Hillary's preacher had received a BJ from Monica Lewinsky, she would have stayed.

I'm so glad that we're ending the war and solving the health care crisis in this country.
