I am a lifelong dedicated and registered Democrat, (democrat, that is) and today, guess what?
I got in my mail a REPUBLICAN PARTY CENSUS DOCUMENT from the Republican National Committee asking for money and telling me that I was among a select group of Repulsivecans, excuse me, Republicans, to receive the new 2008 GOP CENSUS DOCUMENT. complete with claiming I have been registered as a Republican since 1995-.... registration numbers and district
I suggest that this is an attempt to capture a Hillary supporter who is feeling so upset that she would stoop to vote Republican. I'll bet this is a steal, I mean attempted steal, and I wonder how they got my name, address, a Registration number, and Voting District Code number. I will check with my local registrar to see if these are correct. IF SO:
elieve me, this is the beginning of the dirty and underhanded the Republicans are sto adept at.
No, I think your original post is still valid. While a lot of the comments were from Fox, it was not a video about Fox news anchors. About thirty to forty percent were from Fox, the rest were CNN. It should not have been entitled, "McCain Leaves Fox Speechless."
Don't get me wrong, Fox joined in on the criticism, but don't label this as a Fox video when it isn't.
McCain will prove to be an awful campaigner. He will make misstatements; lose his temper, and be flat all the way. Expect the right wing nazis to put giant crowds of police and soldiers behind him with giant banners and fake spectators who will prompt the crowd to cheer. Expect to see giant flags. They will even put blacks by his side.
This is probably what the ridiculously bored do, but I like to switch back and forth between Fox and CNN when Obama is speaking. Fox pots the ambient crowd reax and noise down, way down, and stays mostly on a M to T shot of Obama, rarely allowing the size of the crowd, and their reactions, to be assessed by the audience via a variety of camera positions. CNN does the opposite: pots up the ambient sound, uses wide shots, crowd reax, a variety of camera angles.
I'd like to shadow each (control room) director during key political events/coverage, particularly something with Obama live, and report on their different directing styles and how they call for their nets' shots. What the MSM audience sees and hears during a live event is entirely dependent on the decision-making whims of one person only: that event's show director.
Does anyone find it rather curious that just a couple of days before this Rupert Murdoch had made the statement that Obama would win the general election by a landslide that Fox suddenly starts trashing "thier" candidate? While I don't expect them to make a 180 degree turn, I do expect them to not cross their fearless leader for fear of losing their jobs. How humorous.
John McCain is a terrible speaker? And we are just finding this out NOW?
The Republican party should be ASHAMED of itself for nominating this man for President. There were a number of good candidates to choose from- Mitt Romney was an EXCELLENT speaker - and Ron Paul had a fiery, passionate following of young people that would have ignited the party.
But noooo! The Republican party, which has completely abandoned it's small government roots, had the nerve to FORCE John "Amnesty" McCain on it's members and the American people. Nobody wanted him. His Amnesty bill was a sham. After 8 years of the WORST Republican president in history, Republicans wanted change TOO!!!
Now we are stuck with him. And he will LOSE the election to a smarmy Socialist named Barack Obama who is the ULTIMATE example of Affirmative Action.
Well on behalf of all conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians and every American that believes in a free, smaller government: Thank you Republican Party! May you slowly burn in hell for throwing away this once great nation!!!
Your Daily Politics Video Blog: If you were awful enough to delight in John McCain's prebuttal speech trainwreck last night, feast your eyes on the Fox News commentators trying to decide if it was just bad or downright terrible.
Awesome ending !
love the editing in this video. very nice cuts.
Yes, very deft and cool Ben Crawness, and a fun and sad episode. The guy just hangs himself, and hangs himself, and hangs himself....

Tell it loud and wide. Dirty trick # 1? Find OUT!
The single best thing in this video is Bill Kristol saying: It seemed like a good idea to me.
You nailed it.
why are you saying these are Fox news anchors when they are from CNN?
oops My bad, I should have watched more of it!

I can't decide whether he looks like the old creep from Poltergeist or the Tall Man from Phantasm when he smiles.

That said; where are Carl Camerons eyes?

Keep up the good work McCain!

Its a sad thing, but it reflects on how americans are. They like to be smooth talked with false promises.
