In regards to the proposition at the end. I'd actually heard this story twice today. Once on CNN Daily Podcast, sorry I can't be more specific. But I also saw this story where McCain was heavily mocked on MSNBC Countdown today. Pretty much the best day ever for Keith Olbermann, I guess.

I find it quite odd that almost 50% of those polled suggest McCain will guarantee the country's safety compared to 25% for Obama, and then this story slips through the cracks. I've heard "Obama is clueless on National Security" hundreds of times and yet... Gives me a chill. And not in a good way. Low information voters anyone?

Flip-Flop in the Wilderness

Your Daily Politics Video Blog: Our question of the day: if a flip flops in the wilderness but no one hears, did it really flop? Or in other words, if a news story like John McCain's recent shift in position on troop levels in Afghanistan doesn't fit in with the dominant narrative of the campaign, will any news organizations pick up on it?
