Surge Schmurge. The surge is not going to supply healthcare to milliions without health insurance. Nor will it help the victims of Katrina; or lower the deficit. It won't lower housing prices nor gas prices. McCain is a one trick pony. Let us all worship the surge.

Once again we see the Republicans overwhelming the media with simple sound bites that are designed to divert the public attention away from the real issues. First they pose themselves as the victims of the media with a bogus cry of "lack of fair coverage", then the media bends over backwards to appear as the Republicans want them to, allowing them to go unchallenged with their propaganda. This is how they have won election after election and will probably win this one too. The average voter needs to be treated like a 12 year old, which is exactly what they do. Keep things simple, say them over and over again, and eventually it is declared the truth. The big question today is where the hell are the Democrat surrogates who need to rebut this kind of non-sense? They are leaving Obama hanging!
