Today's WH Press Conference was an exercise in principles. At least when it comes to Bush explaining his own. The fast version:

Principle #1: Democrats won't fund the government. Where's my snack. Is it nap time yet?

Principle #2: I love the Dalai Lama. Support Tibet!

Principle #3: But not Armenia.

Principle #4: The Veto Pen makes me relevant. I swear! Just watch me show my power to a lower-middle class kid with the flu. No shots for you!

Principle #5: Uh, uh, and we don't torture.
