Wow. John “Pat” Philbin, who until last week’s press conference fake-out was external affairs director at the Federal Emergency Management Agency is, er, no longer with the company. And he won’t be starting in that new position in National Intelligence either, said a representative of that office on Monday.I wonder if he got fired for letting FEMA staffers pose as reporters at that press conference about the wild fires in Southern California? But, wait, he apologized for that, right? And someone must have told him to throw a press conference, right? And how are you supposed to do that if there are no reporters around? I mean, you can’t just do a quick and dirty PowerPoint and expect Fox News to run with THAT, can you?
