Pro-Lifer Arrested for Gory Abortion Images

Gwinnett, GA... Where all the women are strong, the men are good looking, and the children are above average. Or at least visually protected by their parents. Despite being heavily Republican - and therefore obstensibly pro-life, especially in the values voter Southland - it seems Gwinnett citizens don't want those values shoved down their throats on rolling-billboard trucks at the mall on Black Friday.
"On the busiest shopping day of the year at the biggest mall in the state, bargain hunters were met with a startling sight," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "They glanced up around the Mall of Georgia in Buford the day after Thanksgiving to see three banners with images of aborted fetuses. " And so as complaints of the "gory" flooded PD phones, rolling slogan mobile driver Robert Roethlisberger, 44, was hauled to jail on charges of "display of obscene and vulgar images visible to persons under age 14." Roethlisberger is an employee of Operation Rescue, a national organization that opposes abortion and, apparently, a good night's sleep for the children of Gwinnett.
Having seen these trucks trailing down Highway 280 in Hoover, Alabama, I'm no stranger to their effect (I nearly slammed the car in front of me because I couldn't look away), but I have to tell you, I'm torn. Free speech? Or just free speech when children aren't present?
