No Official Role for Bill if Hillary Wins

Hillary Clinton told George Stephanopoulos yesterday that Bill Clinton will have no official role in her administration if she is elected president.
"I think he would play the role that spouses have always played for presidents," said Clinton, in an exclusive interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos. "He will not have a formal, official role, but just as presidents rely on wives, husbands, fathers, friends of long years, he will be my close confidante and adviser as I was with him."Not that this will put to rest all the chatter about a Clinton co-presidency. But I think this represents a win-win for Hillary: Bill won't have national security clearance, but he probably remembers more about 1999 that George W. does about getting up this morning. . .
