Karl Rove on friendship
Here on the graveyard shift, Karl Rove just told his new co-workers at Fox News the following about the seeming collaboration between Mike Huckabee and John McCain:
"Alexis de Tocqueville said, 'Shared hatred is the starting point of a great friendship.'"
Yeah, sort of like social conservatives ganging up with economic conservatives because the former hates liberal values and the latter wants to keep as much of its money as it can.
Seems like that deal is sure working out right now....
