According to today's Gallup poll on the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama is ahead of Sen Hillary Rodham Clinton by just 1 percentage point, vs. 3 points on Saturday -- the day he overtook Clinton after falling behind for 5 straight days.

Here's the latest: Obama, 47%; Clinton, 46%, constituting a statisitcal tie.

The sample size: 1,264 "Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters."

The margin of error: +/- 3 percentage points.
