In an interview with NY1, newly annointed New York governor David Paterson admitted to having used marijuana and cocaine when he was in his early 20's. Paterson's transparancy is oddly refreshing, and let's face it, compared to Eliot Spitzer, the guy can get away with just about anything now. After being sworn in, Paterson fessed-up to having had some affairs. Now that he and his wife, Michelle have talked about their marital problems, Paterson looks to move forward.

"I have tried to be open and transparent in the way that the public would ask,” he said. “I've given the information that obviously there are situations where there could be discussions ad nauseum about this kind of thing, but I am trying to focus on the job that I have risen to as a result of our constitution."
