It's my party...

POSTED BY Gabriel Red, 28 March 2008

It's funny when you hear a guy like Howard Dean ask the candidates to "cool down their rhetoric."

It's great for 2004's big hope right now - Governor Dean as Chairman of the Democratic National Committee has no boss.  But once
Senator Clinton or Senator Obama wins the nomination, they become the boss.  And they get to say what goes in the party.  So it's hard to see why either has much of an incentive to back down from the rhetorical positions they're taking because as they see it, the Democratic Party loses if they don't win.

Either one, I'm sure, looks forwarding to cooling down Howard Dean.
