Kackalackalypse now?
No one thinks that Barack Obama is going to win Indiana, but no one really thought he was going to have a close one in North Carolina a couple of weeks ago.
Now, an Insider Advantage poll, taken with a hefty group of 781 likely voters yesterday, (via Real Clear Politics) shows a 3 point margin between him and Senator Clinton. That's what we call margin of error territory, or a tie.
My handicapping: If Obama wins another Guam-style margin in North Carolina, Clinton will immediately peel off a stampede of superdelegates. If Obama loses NC, he should start thinking about asking to serve as Clinton's vice president.
As Mr./Col. Kurtz might have said, "the horror, the horror."
