Ex-Press Sec Publishes CV for Left-Wing Bloggers

POSTED BY Raleigh-Elizabeth Smith, 28 May 2008

... in the form of a book.  Scott McClellan has published a tell-all (or tell-most) book where the great truth is revealed, for the very first time ever: GW kinda lied about that Iraq war thing. I'm shocked, shocked that gambling's going on here!  Here are your winnings, sir...

HAHAHA! That's probably the best quote of all times. runner up:
"That's not the Scott McClellan I know..." DUH, buddy. That's why he wrote the book! I like the new voice though... it's like The Superficial for Politics. (Only nicer)

Notice the distinction between Rove and Libby spending "one on one time" together, and just working together. McClellan says what was suspicious was the two men meeting alone, and Rove tries to dispel the suspicious nature of this one meeting by saying "we spent a lot of time together." There is a difference between a secretive one on one meeting, and spending time with someone in meetings with several other people.

And I don't understand why the defenders of the White House keep repeating the line "this is not the Scott we knew." It is starting to remind me of the Halloween episode of the Simpsons before the '96 elections where aliens snatch the bodies of Bob Dole and Bill Clinton and try to take over the country. It almost sounds like this is what they are implying.
