    NATO's Afghan mission is entering the spotlight as the NATO summit in Bucharest in April approaches. Vice-President Dick Cheney visited Afghanistan today to meet with President Hamid Karzai. Cheney's goal was to get further information on the Afghan situation, in preparation for his upcoming pleas for more action in Afghanistan by NATO allies. Cheney claimed:
