The Problem with Superdelegates
Today is the Potomac primary and many democrats are anxious that if the race is not decided in the next three weeks then in all likelihood the democratic nomination will not be decided before the Democratic Convention in August. This would be a particularly bad scenario as the democratic delegate system gives party leaders and activists a prominent (but usually symbolic role) in deciding the nominee.
