Proving yet again that the Gore/Lieberman ticket was doomed from the start, Joe Lieberman took another step away from the Democratic party this afternoon and, following the lead of the Boston Globe, endorsed John McCain for president.
Despite the newfound support, McCain is still low in the polls: Rasmussen listed him at 11% this morning with Huckabee enjoying his new throne at a solid 23%.
