    POSTED BY RALEIGH-ELIZABETH SMITH, JANUARY 06 2008 08:55 PM | PERMALINK

A great video courtesy of The UpTake from the New Hampshire debates on Saturday.  Excluded candidates' supportes were out en masse - especially Ron Paul's.  And while they had a lot to say, Gravel watched the debate on TiVo... and noted other candidates' stances on Musharraf as "drivel" - probably the most grounded thing he's had to say in awhile.  Make sure you check out more from The UpTake and stay tuned for our next Ground Hounds video.

Romney leads the GOP in the 18-29 set in Iowa, and Obama has a fierce command on those under 35. According to the Des Moines Register, he has the support of 48 percent of younger Iowans while Hillary Clinton only has 19 percent. With the battles fierce, campaigns are forced to work around students' winter breaks and familys'...

Watching Mike Huckabee address the crowd at the 2007 Values Voter’s Summit felt like one of those moments in life when a person wholly finds their element, sort of like how it must have been when Pasteur finally stopped the milk from turning in that French laboratory or right before Daniel crane-kicked Johnny at the end of The Karate Kid. Mike Huckabee not only belonged in that precise moment, he completely owned it – and from the second he opened his strange little mouth, you knew he could not...
