    Surrogate ground hounds Debate Porridge caught up with a class field trip to New Hampshire this morning. With this year being the first time it seems the youth vote might have a significant impact its interesting to see the kids' responses to this year's (and presumbly their first) election.

    Your daily politics video blog: This week The UpTake's own ground hound Chuck Olsen road-tripped to Des Moines, Iowa for the last big Democratic candidate event before the caucuses, the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner. While drunk hockey fans trampled Hillary signs outside, the leading candidates tried to win over the 9,000 cheering Democrats inside, taking jabs at Republicans and each other in an attempt to win hearts and minds at the upcoming Jan. 3 caucus.
