    Could this election cause some evangelicals to move back towards the Left, there once-upon-a-time political home? The Southern Baptist Convention's Richard Land fears just that, and is trying to remind the value voters that, all other values aside, the abortion issue is their biggest one.

    In a simple experiment reported today in the journal Nature Neuroscience, scientists at New York University and UCLA show that political orientation is related to differences in how the brain processes information.

    That is right. There is a reason political opponents find each other completely incompetent - they literally process information differently. Oh, the irony of the terms left and right.
