My attempt to save the Democratic Party from militarists, corporate interests and party elites is over. I am now running for president under the Libertarian Party.

During the debates I tried educating Democrats about the need for REAL change.

I proposed eliminating the IRS, which stifles incentive and investment, and ending the War on Drugs that turns millions of citizens into criminals. I upbraided my opponents for opposing gay marriage and accused them of keeping gays and lesbians...
Mike Gravel joins Veracifier

Last week we were very pleased to have Mike Gravel and his comminications man David Eisenbach stop by our offices. Sen. Gravel has agreed to start writing regularly for Veracifier.com and we are so pleased to have him aboard. In a few minutes we will post his first article for us- explaining his decision to leave the Democratic Party.

You may have forgotten it over the past few months, but Mike Gravel is still campaigning for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Well, he was until today when he announced he was leaving the party to join the Libertarian party. It is impressive that Gravel is still going, and also interesting that someone with such staunch left wing credentials should announce himself as a libertarian, as opposed to the usual fiscal conservative Republicans who often seemed tempted by the third party option...
