    Huckabee scored a triumphant victory in Kansas today, where he beat John McCain in the state's caucus 60 percent to 24.  A resounding 36 delegates for Huckster.  (Oh yeah, count 'em.  Them's the big numbers.)

    Republicans also voted in a primary in Louisiana and held caucuses in Washington.

    McCain began the day with 719 delegates, far ahead of his remaining rivals. Huckabee's Kansas victory left him with 234.

    Mike Huckabee and Hillary Rodham Clinton are expected to clean up in today’s Arkansas primaries, with 47 delegates available on the Democratic side and 34 for the Republicans.  

    By all accounts, the hometown advantage seems to be paying off for both of them with mid-December polls showing Hillary leading the Dems with 57% and Huckabee ahead with 59%.
