Well, Josh, what's clearly missing in this very well edited piece, is your personal answer to the question about the strength of the case. To me it's a no brainer long before this Sunday's array of talking heads. But I'd rather not have this be a shrink session whereby the question-poser elicits reactions from client. Only because the whole WEB is full of uninformed opinion and popping off about stuff with no knowledge of the events surrounding any given matter. The value to me here is YOUR analysis. Because it is clear we no longer have a law-abiding executive branch, we have a gutted justice dept populated now with GOP loyalty oath quid-pro-quo opportunists, an out of touch Congress who souts rule of law yet fails to use the rules of law designed to address these situations, and we have no 4th estate as evidence by tabloid TV news, and access-journalism as popularized by the likes of Rove-fan David Gregory.

That leaves The People. And the New Journalists. That would be you :)

What is this milktoast censure. Censure is meaningless to these criminals. Impeachment; is the cure; get these incompetent criminals out of office immediately.

At this point I am not sure I could pose a realistic scenario in which Congress would pursue the impeachment of a President. If being on the record as having broken the law in direct violation of his oath of office doesn't do it what in heaven's name would? If deliberately lying to the American people and Congress in order to pursue an illegal war against a country that had nothing to do with the 9/11 tragedy doesn't do it what would? If the excessive use of signing statements to basically tell the Congress that there are parts of laws passed by Congress that he will not support and will not enforce doesn't do it what would? This is as close to a fascist state as I want to get. I violently disagree with the Senator as much as I respect his opinion. This President and his VP should both be impeached immediately not just to get them out of office which in my view would be wonderful but for the more important reason which would be to show that the American people and their representatives in Congress will not stand for this kind of naked power grab by any President Republican or Democrat. This is, in my view, a Constitutional crisis. I cannot think of anything more important than to pursue this. My heavens, we went through the impeachment process of the last President for a stain on a blue dress! Is someone going to argue that that was more important than this? Unbelievable!
