it's pretty much the next step, isn't it?  if we keep looking at it like we're just 'bogged down' in iraq, it's an easy move.  realign troops, more congressional dollars, military expansion (read: mercenaries, but marketable!).  this war will lead directly to iran if we're not careful to maintain some perspective -- read frank rich's oped ("the most important op-ed you have read in  years" in our blog) and see what you think.
