God, Fred Thompson sucks so hard.
He's a dumb former actor who "looks the part" having been cast as an authority figure. Thats all a gopper needs. It makes them "feel" secure; and thats what its all about for them.
Smart? Articulate? is he clean? He could be Barack Obama!
