Yesterday Fox News reported that Britain's national health care system provides the perfect hiding place for terrorists. Fox manages to simultaneously some how link universal health care to terrorism, and also sprinkle it with seeds of suspicion against nasty foreign (brown skinned) doctors. Nice. --Marc
This is crazy! As a brit I find this insane. The NHS isn't perfect, but this is just racist.
So .... I guess the answer is to get rid of all these big bureaucrac- oh ... gee. Ummm, no wait we need those! Just not in health care!!!
This is also really stupid- because in Britain most internists are private and contract their services back to the government, working in partnerships, exactly the way he describes.
